ImageScore Points Awarded
AnsweredRegarding your earlier remarks on ImageScore slowing down after 50, or so duels, I feel confused. Why would a leading image with 41 duels be awarded only 7, 5, and 4 ImageScore points, respectively, when all three of those duels were wins? That's quite a disparity from beginning duels when as many as 44 points per duel win are given. It's a bit frustrating to see the same high-scoring image later given so little credit. Are we praising the image, or trying to control the ImageScore? This certainly is unclear in the 7, 5. 4-points incident. Thanks for helping!

Hi Barbara, score change with win (or loss) depends on when duel happened and also on score of image it dueled with. At the start imagescore will increase even if image loses duel, but later imagescore change (up/down) will be much less then in the beginning (sometimes even fraction of score so it is possible for image to win/lose duel and not change in displayed score (since score is displayed as whole number, but it is calculated in fractions).
I hope this helps.

Three wins equalled a total gain of 12 on ImageScore, then on the next duel, a loss, two points were taken away. I just don't see this happening on others' images, but mine seem to suffer this score dilemma whenever they reach the top two in a given category. It doesn't look like a very fair calculation. Why punish in less ImageScore points what already was earned in points? Thanks for checking it out, though.
