Hi Johan, as I already explained many times, contest are just for fun, they are not obligatory and user can chose to participate in them or not. On the other hand main part of the site are categories and competitions with other images in same category.
If I check leaderboards I can see that many many more then 10 members contribute images. If you check only Animal category for last week, you can see that top 12 images belong to 11 unique users. I didn't bother chacking more because only this show that we have many unique users not just couple of users that suibmit zillion of images daily.

Zillion submits (if they are not good images) will not get you better place on leaderboard.

If you don't want to see many trains (prosumably you a re complaining  about user who submits many trains) you can always block user who submits many trains.

    Regards, Jasenka

I didn’t say anything about contests. I’m talking about people who submit 20-30 images in the same category every day. I don’t think that is good for the community and makes the voting rather boring. I’m thinking about skipping voting. I know there are more then ten people submitting images. I wrote that 10 people make 95 percents of the submits… many of them way down in the leaderboards…

Hi Johan,  isn't this what you wrote?
“I think there should be a limit of daily submits - or still better, you can only submit images to existing contests.”
I was referring to that sentence, explaining why we will not limit submit only to existing contests.

Images that are way down the leaderboards get paused really quickly, and you won't see them any more in voting (you may see them once while voting). If you feel that you are overwhelmed by what 10 users submit, you can always block them and you won't need to see any of their images, not even once.

I'm not sure now if you think publishing many images give you advantage, as you said in your first post: “It is obvious that a zillion submits gives you a better place on the leaderboard.” or it is disadvantage, as you say on your second post: “I wrote that 10 people make 95 percents of the submits… many of them way down in the leaderboards…”, so do you think that publishing many images is good for user (better place on leaderboard) or bad (images being way down the leaderboard)?

    Regards, Jasenka

Blocking is a good idea. Thanks!
