Stop over reacting about dq:s

There seem to be a lot of crybabys in this community, whining over dq:s. In reality a dq is not dramatic at all. It affects nothing - but a big ego… The only thing a dq means is that an image is not right for that special contest. It doesn’t affect the image score at all and the image is still in duelling. A dq does not affect the leaderboards or the daily, weakly or monthly ratings of an image or you as a contributor. As I said, a dq affects nothing, so live with it.

  Further more: even the result in a contest doesn’t affect anything. A good contest result is a boost for the ego but does not affect the image rating och contributor rating. It’s the duels that matter and a dq:ed image is still in the duels.
