Digital Art Created "females"
AnsweredI am disturbed by the new attempt at altering the definition of "female" and the way a female should be portrayed. First, I am insulted that Asian women scantily clad and posed in a sexually suggestive manner is considered a "Portrait of a Woman". We are not hoes or prostitutes. We are an infinite number of people who should be portrayed as strong, independent, confident women who are NOT only present to entice or perform for men! Second, the new digital art creations of "women" with bare breasts is not acceptable to all people and should be entered only under the "adult content" category. Yes, I have been to European museums where nude statues are the norm, but there I have a choice to view them or not, whereas on this website I am forced to view them when they come up in image duels (often two from the same artist). I would not have to see them if they were part of the adult content because I have blocked that category. Again, that is my choice. I am not stopping anyone from submitting what they define as art, but I am choosing not to see them. NOW the latest maneuver is to include "women - fake, digitally created images" as actual women under the categories of "People" and "Portraits of Women"! Once again there are millions of actual women who photographers can submit images of, while allowing computer generated portrayals of females to be kept to the category they should be in. They are NOT actual people/women and should NOT be allowed to be included in such a category! I am confident there are many actual women who feel impersonating us through a computer program is a insult to us flesh and blood females who work hard everyday to be the best we can be. All of the "art" and sexual soft solicitation photos would still be allowed, just not mixed in with actual women who don't appear to be encouraging men to pay for their bodies and who aren't 100% created by a computer!

Hello Debbie, all images that contain nudity should be marked as "Mature content". If they are not please do report them and report team will handle your reports. Above that, I will try to daily check digital art category and mark images that need to be marked with "mature content". Also if images are in incorrect category please do report them.

I totally agree with you, Debs!
