    Hi Janna,

    As you probably also noticed on that page you are referencing, it has dates back in 2012. It was not created to mislead people and hasn't been marketed since then.  

    Although Pixoto is not a California business or corporation, we've removed the content so that it is not misleading.  

    Thank you for your time in pointing it out.  We will look to introduce contests with fixed prizes this summer.

    (e) As used in Sections 17539 to 17539.2, inclusive, contest includes any game, contest, puzzle, scheme, or plan that holds out or offers to prospective participants the opportunity to receive or compete for gifts, prizes, or gratuities as determined by skill or any combination of chance and skill and that is, or in whole or in part may be, conditioned upon the payment of consideration.

    (payment of consideration = money or points/ tokens, credits, that have the same purpose as money: can be purchased or otherwise be earned :and spent in place of money)

    when was the last time someone won a cash award in the main categories?

    Is there a minimum number of entries required to win the $215 contests?  When was the last time someone won cash in those contests?

    Hi Janna, there is no minimum number of entries to win contest (Pixoto sponsored challenges). On Pixoto sponsored contests prizes are listed on individual contest pages.
